The Gay Beggars Drama Group present Treasure Island, adapted from the classic novel by John Hildreth. This adventurous adaptation of the novel follows young Jim Hawkins as he discovers a treasure map in a dead pirate's chest and is led on a expedition across the ocean to recover the fortune in gold. Fair winds and favorable seas soon give way to mutiny, greed, and the machinations of a one-legged pirate named Long John Silver. Join Jim on the adventure of a lifetime as he fights for his life as well as that of his friends in this classic tale of piracy and heroism! Tickets are 25.- full price / 15.- reduced (student, AHV, IV) -------- Bar & box office open an hour before showtime, doors to the theatre open half an hour before - you can freely choose your seats.
